• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM — 4 openings
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM — 2 openings
• 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM — 1 opening

Position Summary

A confidential metals manufacturing client in Morgantown, PA is seeking General Production Workers to support production operations. This role performs a variety of hands-on production duties, which may include operating equipment such as shears, crushers, sorting equipment, blending equipment, and briquetting presses.

The General Production Worker will support titanium processing and blending operations used for melting. This position requires strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing, production, warehouse, mobile equipment, forklift, front-end loader, material handling, metals, or heavy industrial experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and complete production work assignments according to production requirements.
• Set up, run, monitor, and troubleshoot machinery used to process titanium and create blends for melting.
• Operate production equipment such as shears, crushers, sorting equipment, blending equipment, and briquetting presses as assigned.
• Operate and perform preventative checks on forklifts, front-end loaders, and other mobile equipment.
• Load, unload, move, and transport supplies, materials, and production items throughout the facility.
• Complete shop floor paperwork, production data, and terminal input accurately and thoroughly for the assigned cell or operation.
• Monitor equipment and production flow to identify issues or delays.
• Communicate equipment issues, material issues, quality concerns, and safety-related concerns to the supervisor, foreman, or manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, production procedures, and company policies.
• Support overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by production needs.
• Perform other production, material handling, equipment operation, or general labor duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, material handling, equipment operation, or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong learning aptitude required.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately complete production paperwork and computer or terminal entries.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work safely around production machinery, mobile equipment, and heavy materials.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using mobile equipment highly preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Front-end loader experience preferred.
• Experience in metals manufacturing, titanium processing, heavy manufacturing, foundry, forge, recycling, material processing, or industrial production preferred.
• Experience with shears, crushers, sorting equipment, blending equipment, briquetting presses, or similar production equipment.
• Additional college, technical schooling, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience completing shop floor data, production paperwork, or terminal input.
