Phlebotomist IHourly Pay Range: $19.22 - $27.87 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Location: Glenbrook HospitalStatus: Part Time, 20 hoursHours: Monday-Friday, 2pm-6pm, e/o weekend and rotating holidaysWhat You Will Do:Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Supervisor/Manager/DirectorResponsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimensCollect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population servedCollect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilizedWhat You Will Need:Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experienceCertification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required from the AHA and PBT (ASCP) certification preferredExperience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferredUnique or Preferred Skills: Good communication and organization skills, moderate computer skills needed, reliable transportation to travel between sites required, strong customer service skills.Benefits:Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
