You’ll: Lead full-cycle recruiting for sales, operations, warehouse, and administrative positions Develop effective recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates Source, screen, interview, and evaluate applicants Partner with managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities Coordinate offers, background checks, and onboarding activities Build and maintain candidate pipelines for future hiring needs Help strengthen our employer brand and hiring processes Human Resources You’ll serve as a valuable resource for employees and managers while helping maintain a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities include: Coordinating new hire onboarding and orientation programs Supporting employee relations and conflict resolution efforts Maintaining employee records and HR systems Assisting with benefits administration and employee communications Supporting performance management and employee development initiatives Ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies Contributing to employee engagement and retention programs Safety & Compliance Safety is a core value at Intermountain Concrete Specialties. You’ll help: Coordinate employee safety training programs Maintain OSHA and workplace safety records Conduct safety orientations for new hires Support accident investigations and corrective action plans Manage workers’ compensation administration and return-to-work programs Assist with workplace inspections, audits, and compliance initiatives Partner with managers to identify opportunities for improving workplace safety HR Administration & Reporting Maintain HR records and employee databases Track certifications, training requirements, and compliance deadlines Prepare HR and safety reports for leadership Assist with workforce planning and organizational initiatives Support special projects that contribute to company growth and employee success What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Safety, or a related role Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software systems Preferred Qualifications SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or other workplace safety certifications Experience in construction, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environments Experience managing workers’ compensation and workplace safety programs The Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who: Takes ownership and follows through Builds strong relationships with employees and leaders Knows how to identify and recruit top-performing talent Brings a positive, solution-oriented mindset Is highly organized and detail-oriented Wants to contribute to both employee success and company growth Understands the value of a strong culture and safe workplace Competitive salary based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Career advancement opportunities within a growing organization We are seeking one exceptional HR Specialist to join our corporate office in Salt Lake City.
