Data Entry & Records Specialist

Our client is seeking a Data Entry & Records Specialist to join their team. As a Data Entry & Records Specialist, you will be part of the Records Management Department supporting the administrative and data management functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Entry-Level Records & Data Processing Analyst
Location: Overland Park, KS - 100% Onsite
Duration: 3+ months with highly possible extension / conversion
Pay Rate: $27 - $30.00/hour on W-2
Employment Type: W-2 Contract

What's the Job?

• Review documents and categorize accordingly
• Cross reference multiple systems to verify and update information
• Maintain accurate, organized tracking of reviewed records using Microsoft Excel
• Communicate findings or questions to the appropriate supervisor or team contact
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee personal information

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, basic formulas, data comparison)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic analytical skills, with the ability to compare data sets and identify discrepancies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
