Contract | 3×12-Hour Shifts (Days or Nights) | Day Shift: 7:30-19:30 | Night Shift: 19:00-7:00 | Every other weekend required | Holiday commitment required (Thanksgiving or Christmas)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in a medical-surgical acute care setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3-4 (surge up to 1:5 on rare occasions)
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within service line to general medical areas as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital environment to deliver high-quality pediatric care
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including fit testing and certification deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or compact license required; IL license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse; first-time travelers not accepted
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Willingness to float within service line to general medical areas
• Willingness to fulfill every-other-weekend requirement and a holiday commitment (Thanksgiving or Christmas)
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
• Prior experience in a pediatric medical-surgical or acute care environment
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
