Join us!POSITION SUMMARYBartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while taking, filling, and serving drinks and food to guests in an efficient manner.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet guests and take drink and food orders from guestsFulfill orders accurately and in compliance with company standards, following recipesAdhere to company, state, county, and city guidelines when serving alcoholic beveragesCheck identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchasesProcess payments for items served using Point of Sale System (POS) and balance all receiptsDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotionsMaintains accurate accounting of inventory at assigned sales locationEnsure all transfers are fulfilled and without discrepancy or shortagesResponsible for the completion of setup, as well as prep, opening and closing duties as assigned by Director, Manager and/or DesigneeKeep work area clean and organized, including storage carts and cages, coolers, and warehouse areasPerform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standardsMaintain a professional appearanceUnderstand and be capable of ensuring that all policies and procedures are followedPerforms other duties as required and/or assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThere are no supervisory responsibilities assigned to this positionQUALIFICATIONSWillingness and drive to exceed guest expectationsMust be personable, friendly and welcomingKnowledge of and ability to execute drink recipesMust be able to create and serve drinks and food in a timely mannerMust maintain a well-groomed appearance and good personal hygiene standardsSubject to credit and background screeningEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or GED requiredExperience in bartending, concessions, or catering preferredSKILLS AND ABILITIESExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust be personable and proactive in providing guests with the highest level of customer serviceAbility to effectively listen and take direction from supervisorMust be able to work independently and in a team environment, interacting with multiple departmentsAbility to read, speak, and write English languageMust be able to communicate in a clear manner with guests and teammatesMust be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidaysCOMPUTER SKILLS:To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate skill in utilizing Point of Sales systems with Inventory Control.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust have or obtain and maintain ServSafe training certificationPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
