Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedics

Nurse – Orthopedic/Neuroscience

Schedule: Days (6:30A-7P)

Assignment Details: Requires holiday coverage and may involve floating to other units.

Requirements:

• Current state nursing license
• NIHSS certification
• BLS certification
• Less than 1 year of experience

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team to care for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Document patient care according to standards.
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by a physician.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate issues as necessary.
