Neurologist

Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Neurologist to join our growing Medical Specialties Service Line. In this role, you will provide high-quality neurologic care and consultative services across both inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will also serve as a clinical content expert for multidisciplinary case reviews and help develop a comprehensive Neurology program. Practice Info Inpatient hospital setting and ambulatory setting Located at The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ, featuring a new 370-bed acute care hospital Valley Medical Group features more than 300 physicians and nearly 200 advanced practice providers in 60 adult and pediatric specialties Responsibilities Provide high quality neurologic care including consultative service both within the inpatient hospital setting as well as the ambulatory setting Serve as a clinical content expert for multidisciplinary case reviews of complex neurological patients Provide consultation and guidance to physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and the interdisciplinary team Help develop a comprehensive Neurology program and foster multidisciplinary collaboration across the health system Compensation Compensation range from $300,000 to $350,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits) Competitive compensation models include generous wRVU productivity incentive with the opportunity to grow, uncapped Benefits Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability 401(k) and 457(b) retirement plans Paid holidays and PTO CME allowance and dedicated CME time Malpractice coverage Relocation allowance Eligibility for Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Shift & Schedule Full-time employment Qualifications MD or DO Board Certification in Neurology Fellowship training in a Neurology subspecialty is preferred Existing or Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS required
