Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC/R and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach to delivering high-quality service while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC/R and plumbing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
- Respond to service calls and provide on-site technical support in a timely and professional manner.
- Test and verify system performance after repairs or maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment status, recommended repairs, and maintenance needs.
- Follow all company safety policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of service assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience servicing and repairing commercial/industrial HVAC/R and plumbing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Hands-on experience providing field service and technical support.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R safety standards and industry best practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training in HVAC/R, Plumbing, or a related trade.
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Refrigerant Handling).
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and commercial building systems.
