This role blends client-facing consulting delivery with solution design, business development, and account growth, supporting strategic engagements across Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Generation, and enterprise indirect spend.The ideal candidate brings strong domain credibility, a consulting mindset, and a passion for shaping high-impact solutions while driving revenue growth for GEP’s procurement services.As a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 clients and public sector organizations, you will drive value by designing and delivering innovative energy procurement strategies, leading complex negotiations, and helping clients navigate an evolving energy landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Consulting & DeliveryLead and deliver end-to-end procurement and supply chain consulting engagements for E&U clients, including EPC and capital projects.Advise clients on procurement transformation, category strategies, sourcing optimization, and operating model design.Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, ensuring measurable business outcomes and long-term value realization.Business Development & Account GrowthDrive business development activities within existing and new E&U accounts, identifying white spaces and growth opportunities.Own consulting-led upsell initiatives, helping expand GEP’s footprint across procurement, supply chain, and capital project spend.Contribute to thought leadership, client presentations, and industry discussions to strengthen GEP’s E&U market positioning.Practice & Team LeadershipMentor and guide consulting teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and capability development.Contribute to building E&U-specific consulting assets, frameworks, and best practices.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and alliances teams.Domain & Category ExpertiseEnergy & Utilities: Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Utilities EPC environments.Direct Spend: EPC, capital equipment, electricals, mechanicals, construction, MRO, project procurement.Salary Range: $190,000-$210,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.Additional Compensation: Eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance.Benefits: Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision), 401(k) plan with a 3% company match, paid time off, company holidays, and professional development opportunities.What you should bring12+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain consulting, with strong exposure to Energy & Utilities.Proven experience in EPC and capital project procurement environments.Hands-on experience across both direct procurement categories.Background in a leading consulting firm, procurement advisory, or digital procurement solution provider.Demonstrated ability to drive account growth, upsell initiatives, and business development activities.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.What Makes You Successful in This RoleStrategic thinker with strong execution orientation.Credible E&U domain expert who can engage confidently with CXO-level stakeholders.Passionate about digital transformation, procurement innovation, and client success.Why GEPWork at the intersection of consulting, technology, and industry transformation.Opportunity to shape high-impact solutions for leading Energy & Utilities organizations.Collaborative, growth-oriented environment with strong global exposure.Job SummaryPosition Type: Full-Time EmployeePosted Date: 5 months ago(3/10/2026 6:18 AM)
