Monitor all production to insure customer requirements are being met Verify that all components are available prior to publishing the production schedule Update the mold schedule in JDE and Plant Minder on a daily basis. Update Lining Schedule as directed by Scheduling/Warehouse Manager. Issue a hard copy of the mold change schedule twice daily Review MPS messages daily adding or modifying work orders. Look at capacity by reviewing the scheduling priority screen and changes work centers and parts list as required Review order acknowledgements from customer service with Scheduling Manager to verify that requested dates fit the schedule. Identify mold priorities on daily schedule to guide the shop floor on what machines are more critical than others. Firm up all molding work orders for purchasing lead times. Firm up lining work orders as directed by Scheduling/Warehouse Manager. Provide capacity updates for new business and increased sales to see if current equipment can handle the load. Alert customer service of any delays in meeting the current demands. Work with manufacturing to resolve any problems with the schedule. Participate on teams within the plant and within the corporate scheduling group Promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, AIB, ISO Update Plantminder mold and lining standards. Investigate Plantminder requests for changes to ensure that they improve our performance and track all associated costs. Print all WIP travelers.
