This contract opportunity welcomes both credentialed school counselors and school-certified social workers who are passionate about serving K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. You’ll thrive in a full-time position, working 35 hours per week from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), for the academic year running from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) – please provide a screenshot of your credentials
• Certification as a School Counselor or School Social Worker
• Experience working with K-12 students is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to develop strategies and interventions
• Assist with crisis intervention and create safe, supportive school environments
• Help coordinate and implement individualized education and intervention plans as needed
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and standards
