Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education certification with an Elementary Education certificate preferred
• At least one year of teaching experience working with students in a severe/profound setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Commitment to evidence-based instructional strategies and positive behavior supports

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with severe/profound disabilities
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet students' diverse academic, behavioral, and functional needs
• Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to promote student growth and success
• Participate in team meetings, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured classroom atmosphere
