What You’ll Do Perform computer-aided drafting and design for life safety and security systems in advanced facilities. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create and coordinate 3D BIM models with architects and engineers. Assist in developing layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security/Intrusion Detection Systems. Ensure designs meet industry standards and client requirements, delivering accurate, constructible solutions. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in drafting and BIM design, ideally in life safety systems. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP. What You’ll Need High school graduate or equivalent At least 10 years of AutoCAD experience Ideally, you’ll also have 3-5 years of Revit design experience Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and manufacturer equipment Industrial design experience Autodesk Certification Professional ACP or other drafting technologies certifications #afelectronics Benefits Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $120,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
