General Laborer II - GVL

Description The General Laborer duties will include but may not be limited to providing physical labor on construction sites under the direction of the foreman. Job duties may include preparing the sites for job requirements, loading or unloading materials, operating a grout plant, shotcrete hoses, concrete pump, air compressor, generator, or other equipment as may be required from time to time. Position Requirements 6 months+ of WEC general laborer or 1 year+ (semi-skilled laborer) of construction experience Completed high school or equivalent education Must be able to read and write English Must be able to pass a drug test prior to employment and at any time, as requested Must maintain valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points Must have reliable transportation and ability to show up on time Must be able to work outside and in all kinds of weather and for long hours Must be able to stoop, bend, and crouch; use hands, arms and legs fully; lift up to 80 pounds with frequent lifting, and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or less Must be available to travel out of town Monday-Friday, as needed (per diem provided) Full-Time Travel Requirements: available for travel out of town Monday‑Friday as required with per diem.
