Previous applicants seemed to have either MES implementation experience or project management experience, but not both to the level we would need. Ideally looking for someone who has been accountable for an MES implementation at a regulated manufacturing site. Previous SLC: Spotlight call: This person needs to be local – ideally on site a couple times a week at most and, at a minimum biweekly North America MES implementation program. Taking a manual, paperwork process into digital process. They are mid project right now (they will be handed off a bunch of documents and decisions that have already been made). Previous PM left and there were project delays so they are looking for this person to come in and help with implementation. 8-16 months. Looking for someone with strong program management background – PMO, program/project management. Someone who has implementation of MES experience, specifically critical manufacturing experience would be a huge plus. Someone who has quality/regulatory experience – able to talk to quality and regulatory SMEs. Primary PM software that they use is Planisware. They use Microsoft suite, MAP Agile; Interview: HM, his boss, and stakeholders at the manufacturing site (2 rounds) The Program Manager for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) at the Danvers manufacturing site provides end?to?end leadership for the planning, governance, and execution of MES initiatives supporting manufacturing operations. This role leads cross?functional teams in deploying and sustaining the standardized global MES template (Critical Manufacturing), including required Danvers?specific localizations, while ensuring alignment to business priorities, operational readiness, and enterprise standards. The PM is accountable for integrated delivery across scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, quality and compliance, site readiness, training and change management, go?live, and hypercare. The role ensures minimal disruption to production and a controlled transition from implementation to steady?state operations. Program scope includes enabling real?time production visibility, replacing paper?based records with electronic DHR (eDHR), and coordinating integration between MES and site and enterprise systems such as BPCS ERP, Cornerstone/CSOD, equipment connectivity, and other applications defined in project charters and SOWs. This role is aligned to the Danvers Manufacturing site in Danvers, MA. While preference is given to candidates based nearby with the ability to work on?site, all qualified candidates will be considered provided they are able to travel to the Danvers site at least bi?weekly. Key Responsibilities Provide overall program leadership and governance for MES initiatives, defining objectives, success metrics, operating cadence, and escalation paths. Plan, execute, and monitor MES projects from initiation through delivery, owning integrated schedules, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across cross?functional and departmental teams. Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, site leadership, functional partners, and vendors to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely decision?making. Manage financial and resource aspects of the program, including budgets, forecasts, SOW execution, vendor performance, and efficient allocation of internal resources. Assess complex, ambiguous project issues and develop effective resolutions to meet productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction objectives. Lead risk, issue, and change management activities, ensuring adoption readiness and adherence to PMO, quality, and enterprise standards. Provide clear, concise project status reporting and executive?level insights on progress, risks, and financials. Drive continuous improvement by strengthening delivery processes, tools, and consistency of execution, capturing lessons learned to improve future initiatives. Required Knowledge and Experience Practical experience leading and managing the execution of projects and operational initiatives within a technical or professional discipline. Advanced knowledge and skills in project or program management with an understanding of downstream impacts across the organization.
