GI TechnicianOdessa Endoscopy Center is hiring a Full-Time GI TechnicianWelcome to Odessa Endoscopy CenterWe have 2 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.GI Tech at Odessa Endoscopy CenterThe GI Technician/Endoscopy operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during both simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse, and GI technician collaborate in the procedure room to create ideal conditions for achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments.
