DishwasherThe Dishwasher maintains cleanliness and ensures sanitation standards for all kitchen equipment, pans, pots, racks, cooking utensils, chinaware, silverware; using machine and manual cleaning methods. Guarantees areas used to complete tasks are maintained clean, safe, and sanitary facility.Dishwasher Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned:Maintains a safe and sanitary work and guest area through consistent cleaning, organizing, and replenishing of necessary items.Scrub and rinse pots, pans, cooking equipment and utensils, chinaware, glassware, silverware, sending as needed on racks through the dishwasher machine.Sort and transport clean dishes to replenish work stations such as cooks line and other proper storage areas.Sets up and breaks down dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.Maintains clean and dry floors throughout the shift, wiping up any spills that might occur.Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business volume levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by supplier.Maintains trash cans throughout shifts and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift. Washes and scrubs the containers as needed.Maintains or exceeds standards of personal appearance, grooming, cleanliness, and hygiene.
