Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, scaling, and holding the sales team accountable for revenue growth, profitability, and execution within the factoring division. This role combines hands-on sales leadership, team quota management, CRM and automation ownership, and contract execution, while personally contributing new production.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and manage the factoring sales team to ensure each salesperson achieves a minimum monthly production quota.
• Monitor individual and team performance, pipeline health, and conversion metrics.
• Conduct regular weekly and monthly sales reviews, including pipeline, funded deals, and profitability.
• Implement corrective action plans for underperformance and recommend hiring or terminations as needed.
• Fully implement and automate Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Account Engagement (Pardot) to support lead nurturing, prospect engagement, and outbound campaigns.
• Ensure accurate data entry, pipeline tracking, and reporting across the sales team.
• Build, maintain, and optimize automated workflows, lead scoring, and campaign tracking to support sales productivity.
• Finalize and maintain sales dashboards for:
• Individual sales performance
• Team production vs. quota
• Pipeline by stage
• Funded volume
• Revenue and margin contribution
• Ensure dashboards are accurate, real-time, and reviewed regularly with leadership.
• Oversee and coordinate the execution of factoring contracts, including:
• Factoring agreements
• Guarantees
• Amendments and renewals
• Work closely with Operations, Credit, and Legal to ensure deals are properly approved, documented, and onboarded.
• Ensure all contracts meet internal risk, pricing, and compliance standards prior to funding.
• Personally generate a funded volume through direct sales efforts.
• Maintain an active personal pipeline while serving as a role model for the sales team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Invoice factoring or transportation sales experience required.
• At least 4+ years proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Hands-on experience with CRM software or salesforce.com is a plus
• Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
• Fast learner and passion for sales
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
• High school diploma
