We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setup Operator to join our growing manufacturing team in Bradenton, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, quality-focused machine shop producing critical components for the aerospace industry.Our team specializes in precision machining, prototype development, and short-to-medium production runs, utilizing advanced machining technology and an ISO-driven quality environment.What We OfferWeekly PayMonday through Friday scheduleFirst Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PMCompetitive pay based on experienceStable, long-term career opportunityClean and organized manufacturing environmentOpportunity to work on aerospace-grade componentsOvertime opportunities availableResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision aerospace components.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.Install tooling, fixtures, and adjust machine offsets.Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.Make adjustments as needed to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards.Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot machining issues.Complete production documentation and inspection records.Maintain a safe and efficient work area.Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery of finished parts.QualificationsExperience setting up and operating CNC is required.Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.Proficient with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments.Understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining practices.Experience producing close-tolerance parts in aerospace, medical, or precision manufacturing environments is highly preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards.Preferred SkillsCNC programming experience is a plus but not required.CAD/CAM experience is beneficial.Experience with prototype work and short- to medium-run production is preferred.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bradenton, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
