Job Summary
Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Indianapolis, IN. This perioperative position involves providing high-quality care to post-surgical patients on a 34-bed unit. The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and excellent patient advocacy, with responsibilities including managing drains and utilizing Epic electronic medical records. The position supports a rotating night shift schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 1930-0700, rotating days, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or post-surgical settings, Epic electronic medical record experience, strong teamwork, flexibility, experience with drains, strong time management skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Post-Surgical and Medical-Surgical experience
• Float: Float to similar medical-surgical units based on rotation and needs
• Additional Information: Candidate will be required to complete assigned education modules before reporting to the floor
