Overview A leading publisher in the physical sciences is seeking a REMOTE temporary full-time Editorial Assistant for 6+ months. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Publishing Development and provide critical support to the Publishing Team. Pay range: $21.00/hr - $28.00/hr. Manage articles through the peer review and production processes, ensuring timely publication. Communicate with authors, editors, and conference organizers, providing guidance on publishing processes and addressing inquiries. Assist with administrative tasks that support the success of the Conference Proceedings program. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively. Team player with the ability to adapt to changing situations. Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
