Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,977 per week

Overview Travel Nurse RN – ICU (Intensive Care Unit) – Latrobe, PA – 13‑week contract, start ASAP. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour overnight shifts (3 nights per week). Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans. Identify teaching needs and goals for patients, collaborating with patients/families and the interdisciplinary team. Provide timely patient information for Initial and Re‑evaluation Team Conferences weekly. Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record. Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, providing direct patient care based on nursing processes. Initiate discharge planning on admission day and begin patient teaching in anticipation of discharge. Communicate changes in patient status effectively to support continuity of care and patient safety. Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel. Contribute to a positive unit environment through effective team communication and collaboration. Assume charge responsibilities as requested and pursue professional growth through continuing education. Requirements & Qualifications BLS certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (specific facility only). Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience highly desired. Schedule & Compensation This is a 13‑week contract position with night shifts scheduled at three days per week, 12 hours each. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend. Rates may vary by location and residency.
