Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical – PRN Days Support patients on a PRN day shift at North Alabama Shoals Hospital in a medical-surgical setting. Provide comprehensive patient care, medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. How You’ll Contribute Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Documents patient care provided with timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record. Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation). Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family, and performs timely and accurate QI assessments. Requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. BCLS required.
