Job Title: Director of Pediatrics - Registered Nurse

Location: On-site, near Round Rock, TX

Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 + Leadership Bonus + Relocation Assistance

Schedule: Full-time, Days (No Weekends)

Our client is a respected hospital located near Round Rock, TX, dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric care and fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation. They are seeking a full-time, permanent Director of Pediatrics - Registered Nurse to lead their Pediatrics Unit.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Pediatrics - Registered Nurse to join and guide the pediatric team. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated group of healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational excellence within the Pediatrics Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Pediatrics Unit.
Develop and implement policies, protocols, and care standards to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
Oversee resource allocation, staffing, and budgeting to maintain efficient operations.
Collaborate with hospital leadership to align departmental goals with the overall mission and vision.
Monitor and evaluate unit performance, implementing improvement plans as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (BCLS).
Active Registered Nurse License.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (required).
At least 5+ years of experience in healthcare (required).
At least 3+ years in a Director role within a Pediatrics Unit (required).
