Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

This position involves performing cardiovascular invasive procedures and requires a high level of skill and knowledge in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiology. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team to provide exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Performing invasive cardiovascular procedures under the supervision of a physician
• Maintaining compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
• Assisting with patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Documenting patient information and procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State registration or limited permit to practice in New York
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification as an ARRT-CV or RCIS
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum experience related to cardiovascular invasive procedures preferred

Schedule

This position is a full-time role requiring a commitment of 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month. The standard shift will be from 07:00 to 17:30.
