Summary of Responsibility: Reporting to the Production Manager, the Office Assistant will work closely with various team members to help provide accurate paperwork for assembly areas. Other functions of the role include working with the Supply Chain Manager to assist with inventory management, working with engineers to provide necessary information for paperwork, and supporting the assembly area as necessary. This position provides an opportunity in a high growth business in manufacturing with potential for advancement. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to successfully operate in a team setting. What You Will Contribute: Sort and organize all documents needed to complete production orders such as schematics, production packages, shipping labels, sticker labels, and any other paperwork that needs to be included. Print and label all sticker sets for production orders, then distribute to the corresponding production area. Communicate, and redistribute any paperwork issues (Incorrect or Revised BOMs, Sticker Sets, Shipping Documents) from Assembly to front office (Engineers, Operations, Supply Chain). Communicate with Supply Chain Manager to order missing parts, office and printer supplies, and new equipment. Complete documentation thoroughly and accurately. Identify and distinguish raw materials using part numbering systems and store them in correct locations. Communicate effectively with team leaders regarding assembly instructions, workflow adjustments, and scheduling. Promote safe work practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Adhere to all established safety guidelines and protocols. Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions, including accessing equipment interiors and elevated areas. Strong handeye coordination and fine motor skills required for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work. Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
