As a Security Officer Access Control in Alcoa, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. In this people-first role, you will deliver outstanding customer service while supporting daily operations with teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, innovative approach.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with location requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including gates, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support security-related operations at a food and beverage location by helping to deter unauthorized access, reporting maintenance or access issues, and completing required logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
