Insurance Sales Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member (Streator)

Theresa Solon – State Farm Agent in Streator, IL is seeking an outgoing, motivated, and goal-oriented professional to join our team.

We are looking for someone who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, and helping customers protect what matters most. This position has a strong focus on sales and business development , including generating leads, following up with prospects, identifying customer needs, conducting insurance reviews, and asking for the business.

The ideal candidate is competitive, self-motivated, comfortable working toward sales goals, and willing to take initiative. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with both new and existing customers while offering State Farm products including auto, home, renters, life, health, and other insurance products.

• Develop new business through prospecting, referrals, lead follow-up, and outbound calls, texts, and emails.
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers and previously quoted households.
• Conduct insurance conversations to identify customer needs and uncover additional opportunities.
• Prepare and present insurance quotes and recommendations.
• Ask for the business and work to convert prospects into customers.
• Cross-sell additional products to existing customers based on their needs.
• Schedule and conduct customer appointments and insurance reviews.
• Build strong relationships with customers and members of the local community.
• Educate customers about available coverage options and insurance products.
• Meet individual and team sales and activity goals.
• Maintain accurate records of customer conversations, leads, and follow-up activities.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with policy changes, payments, billing questions, transfers, claims follow-up, and other service needs as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the agency team to achieve overall office goals.
