Endpoint Systems Engineer

Duration: 6 month contract w/ extensions Location: Newark DE- hybrid 2-3x week onsite Must haves: Degree in engineering/computer science and/or 5+ years or more experience in an IT endpoint engineering role Hands on work with imaging test sequences Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and SCCM task sequences Well-rounded experience with endpoint management - understanding MSSI's & MSIX and how applications interact with devices Has done application packaging and deployment, including MSI packaging, application upgrades, and inventory management Will be updating in MSI for old and new versions Plusses: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Jamf Certified Tech or similar Day to Day: Manage and support the enterprise endpoint environment across Windows and Mac devices, including Intune, MECM/SCCM, and Jamf Pro platforms. Build, modify, and troubleshoot Windows imaging solutions, Autopilot deployments, and SCCM task sequences to ensure seamless device provisioning and user onboarding. Package, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications, including MSI packaging, software upgrades, application inventory management, and automated deployments. Administer and enforce configuration, compliance, conditional access, and security policies through Intune, Azure, Active Directory, and Entra ID environments. Partner with endpoint engineering and support teams to resolve deployment issues, improve endpoint lifecycle management processes, and ensure a secure, compliant Windows 11 environment.
