Schedule

AM - 8hr 40hr Days, Monday - Friday; 8am - 4:30pm, or 8:30am - 5pm. No weekends. No major holidays.

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology or an associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited academic program plus 2 years of experience by date of hire.
• Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (NM)) and at least one of the following advanced certifications: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MR).
• Current Radiologic Technologist License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification.
• Experience in Molecular/Nuclear Imaging is preferred (SPECT/CT/PET/MR/Optical fusion Imaging).
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology.
• Ability to adhere to safety standards and present a professional appearance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures and ensure quality control of imaging equipment.
• Obtain patient history and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide instruction to students and support the team dynamic.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow protocols for reporting results.
• Utilize Nuclear Medicine Information System (NMIS) and Radiology Information Systems (RIS) effectively.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills in imaging processes and techniques.
