Come join an industry leader in the Fire, EMS and Industrial Safety markets that has been doing business in New York for over 40 years!We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual to service fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and eye wash stations ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and professionalism within our New York State Fire Service Division with a major focus in and around Albany, NY.Training will be provided!DiVal offers:Multiple medical plan options, which DiVal pays up to 70% of the plan premiumsDental & Vision coverageShort-Term & Long-Term Disability coverage401 K & Roth IRA optionsVacationCulture of teamwork and FUN, Growth opportunities, Leadership mentor program and StabilityDuties and Responsibilities:Focusing on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to, reporting any existing or potential safety concerns to managementPerform required services on fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, emergency eye wash stations and AEDs according to established safety requirements on-site with our customersReplenishment of First Aid Kits and PPE vending machines.Coordinate daily schedules with supervisors and management, working as part of a teamPromptly arrive at facilities prepared to perform the services as scheduledPrepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as requiredEffectively and efficiently communicate any issues/problems with managementComplete vehicle cleaning and maintenance duties as directedPerform additional duties that may arise and assigned by managementSkills and Requirements:Strong self-motivation, with solid confidence levelExcellent communication skills, always representing DiVal Safety in a professional and positive mannerDetail oriented with strong organizational skillsNo prior service experience necessary, training is providedAvailable to travel including overnights as deemed necessary based on workload schedulingAbility to lift 50 lbs. and spend the majority of your day on your feet or walkingHigh school degree or GEDValid driver's license and acceptable vehicle record
