Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of IR experience for a 13-week day shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds, operating as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Interventional Radiology unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Call is required in addition to scheduled shifts
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to a sister campus
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Current ARRT registration required
• Active state or compact license required at time of consideration — pending licenses not accepted (license required if applicable)
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Pre-start online modules are required (approximately 4–10 hours)
• RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general guideline of up to 4 days per contract
• Only one holiday can be approved per contract
• All shift callouts must be made up as determined by the department
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning
• Travelers are limited to one contract extension before being required to be away for a minimum of 6 months
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
