It is an exciting and empowering time to work at NFPA.NFPA is looking to add a Digital Archivist to the Research team!Primary Duties/ResponsibilitiesAct at the Associate Level Preservica Manager, able to ingest and manage assets in the platform. The expectation is to become an Expert level in the future.Perform auditing and quality control of content described for Preservica to ensure uniformity and quality across the platform.Triage the collections for digital preservation and define metadata needs specific to the collection, as streamlined a feasible.Assist the customer support to staff, committee members, and the public.RequirementsMaster's Degree in Library and Information Science. Or enrolled in MLS with work experience.2 – 4 years' experience in digital asset management systemsExperience with Preservica desired. Exceptional qualifications or unique circumstances may result in placement higher in the range.
