The registered nurse is responsible for providing care, treatment, and education through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The registered nurse is responsible for care of patient’s ages: adult and geriatric taking into account patient acuity levels, ages, disabilities, and stages of development in the performance of his/her responsibilities. Nursing care is provided in collaboration with the Medical Staff and in accordance with objectives and policies of Graham Hospital. The registered nurse functions as the team leader of a designated group of patients. The registered nurse is responsible for directing the other members of the health care team. The Registered nurse reports to the Director of Nursing for ECF.

Position Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Ability to apply knowledge base of clinical variations associated with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Current Illinois Licensure

BLS certification through AHA required.
