School Occupational Therapist (OT) Job | Atoka, NM | 2026-2027 School Year

A school district near Atoka, New Mexico, is seeking a dedicated School Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026-2027 school year. This school-based contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a K-12 caseload while making a meaningful impact on students' independence, functional skills, and academic success. We welcome applications from experienced Occupational Therapists as well as new graduates.

Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students in a school setting.
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to determine student needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Qualifications
Active New Mexico Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility for licensure.
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
School-based experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
