Director of Accounting

Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and the monthly financial close process. Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements while reviewing account reconciliations and journal entries for completeness and accuracy. Support the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, including chart of accounts design, data migration, system testing, and go-live activities. Apply U.S. GAAP accounting guidance to a variety of complex customer arrangements and prepare technical accounting analyses and documentation to support accounting conclusions. Manage cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory valuation, overhead allocation, and variance analysis. Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP and coordinate external audit activities by preparing supporting schedules, responding to audit requests, and assisting with audit deliverables. Maintain and enhance internal control processes to support financial reporting compliance. Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, asset tracking, and periodic physical inventories. Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team by providing guidance, performance feedback, and quality review of work.
