As a Security Officer Driving Role Entry Screening in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and document access activity in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to restricted areas and potential security-related concerns common to a chemical and petrochemical environment.
• Support badge and key control processes, maintain accurate logs and reports, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent observation and professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
