Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer radiation treatments using advanced equipment such as ARIA/VARIAN and machine type 21ix.
  
  
• 
  Operate and calibrate therapy machines to ensure accurate dose delivery.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient responses during procedures and adjust treatments as necessary.
  
  
• 
  Document treatment details and patient progress accurately in electronic health records, including EPIC.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with safety protocols and institutional policies, including current BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams to ensure understanding and safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current nursing or radiation therapist license per state requirements.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least two years of recent, relevant clinical experience in radiation therapy.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current ARRT certification and California license.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC, ARIA/VARIAN, and EPIC systems.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  
  
• 
  Be available for day shift, Monday through Friday, with no call requirements.
