Locum Tenens Obstetrician/Gynecologist Near Columbia, TN We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens position near Columbia, TN. Key Details: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Call-only Practice Setting: Inpatient Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage Duties and Responsibilities: Inpatient Care: Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in an inpatient setting. Call Coverage: Be available for 24-hour call coverage, handling admissions, consultations, and patient care as needed. Admissions: Manage admissions and oversee patient care in the hospital environment. Rounding: Responsible for rounding on nursery patients as required. Required Skills and Procedures: OB/GYN Expertise: Deliver routine obstetric and gynecological care, including handling various procedures and emergency situations. Patient Volume: Manage approximately 2 patients per shift. Procedures: Perform typical OB/GYN procedures, with a focus on inpatient care. Certification and Licensing: Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Fellowship training preferred but not mandatory. State License: Must hold an active Tennessee medical license. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required. Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 7 days. EMR Systems: Familiarity with eCW and MedHost is preferred. Additional Information: Hospital Bed Capacity: 16 beds in the department. Support: The department is supported by experienced staff and has the necessary resources for effective patient care.
