SpringHill/Towne Place Suites Avon Vail Valley is seeking a Housekeeping Associate. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well. Work as a team to achieve resort/hotel cleanliness goals. Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked. Properly utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities. Provide thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas. Change and inspect linens and towels daily, following Green Program standards. Practice safety standards, identify hazards, and report them. Respect guests’ property and maintain equipment care. Report to work on time, maintain accurate time records, and follow issuance standards. Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and coworkers. Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor. Qualifications Housekeeping experience desirable. Neat, pleasant personality. Time management skills. Ability to work on feet for an extended period. Effective communication skills. Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions. Physical ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places, detect odors, navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces. Operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters. Lift, carry and position loads of at least 25 lbs. Compensation $23.00 - $23.00 per hour.
