Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced MRI Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI imaging procedures in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform MRI scans using GE equipment, adhering to hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Assist with contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures, ensuring optimal imaging results.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the Cerner electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with radiology team to provide efficient and effective patient care.
  
  
• 
  Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
  
  
• 
  Follow unit policies, rotating weekends, and on-call requirements as scheduled.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Credentialed MRI Technologist with registration in MRI imaging.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in MRI procedures.
  
  
• 
  Prior experience with breast MRI procedures is preferred.
  
  
• 
  Certified in MRI safety and possess necessary licensure.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
