Key Responsibilities As a Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive psychotherapy services. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to establish each patient’s unique mental health needs. Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions and solution-focused techniques. Providing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals and families. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards. Engaging in collaborative treatment with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Participating in regular peer review and case consultation meetings to enhance professional development and improve care outcomes. Offering education and support to clients and their families about mental health treatment options and available community resources. Staying informed about emerging research and methodologies in mental health to continuously refine your clinical practice. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse patient population that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. This diversity allows for a dynamic case load and encourages the application of various therapeutic approaches, fostering a culturally sensitive and individualized treatment experience. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. A valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois. A minimum of two years of clinical experience, specifically in providing psychotherapy services. Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques and interventions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to formulate meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex patient cases. Collaboration skills for effective teamwork within an interdisciplinary setting. Preferred Experience Experience working in a remote or telehealth environment. Familiarity with electronic health records and teletherapy platforms. Prior involvement in community outreach or mental health education initiatives.
