Quick Facts: Location: Spokane, WA Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: Ongoing / Full-time Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, No nights or weekends Hours/week: 40 hours (plus OT if needed) Employment Type: Locum/Contract License/Certs: Active or IMLC license, DEA, BC in Internal Medicine with GI Fellowship Experience: Prior GI fellowship required Pay & Benefits: Pay rate: $1.00/hour (to be filled out on bid) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Travel/reimbursement for licensure, certification, and agency-related expenses What You'll Do: Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultation and management Assist with outpatient procedures when indicated Collaborate with hospital team to deliver high-quality patient care Adapt to hospitalist-style gastroenterology duties across Sacred Heart and Holy Family hospitals Cover shifts from 8a-5p, weekday only, no nights or weekends Participate in arrhythmia and procedure planning as needed Fulfill minimum commitment of approximately 14 shifts per month What You Need: Active or IMLC license, DEA certification Board-certified in Internal Medicine (BC) with GI fellowship Proven experience in gastroenterology Strong clinical skills and teamwork orientation About the Assignment: This assignment involves a full-time GI hospitalist role at a prominent Spokane hospital system, requiring experienced providers to cover inpatient needs due to a retirement. The position offers flexible full-time or outpatient procedural options, with potential for permanent placement based on performance and fit.
