Job TitleJob Overview:Pay Range: $16.00hr - $21.00hrRequirement/Must HaveAbility to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.Strong computer and phlebotomy skills.Ability to work alone in a clinical setting.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Maintain required records and documentation.Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Nice To HaveMedical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred.One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.SkillsPhlebotomy.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Specimen Processing.Data Entry.Keyboarding.Qualification And EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 6 months experience.Keyboard/data entry experience.Valid credentials/licenses for the Client.
