Maintenance Worker

Duties
The duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Install, preventively maintain, and repair industrial equipment.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the water supply system.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the Laboratory's air conditioning and ventilation systems, steam generation and sterilization system, and wastewater sterilization system.
- Performs preventive maintenance of buildings, which includes carpentry, painting, flushing sewer lines, roof repair, maintenance of electrical and system controls.
- Recognizes the need for periodic repairs, estimates materials required to make repairs, and helps plan and implement an ongoing program of modifications and alterations to accommodate changing needs and regulations.
- Assists in the ordering and purchasing of supplies and materials needed for repairs.
