Quality Control Lead - Day Shift
Location: Monticello, WI
Pay: $25.13+ per hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire (T-H)
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead for a day shift opportunity in Monticello, WI. This temp-to-hire position is ideal for candidates with a background in the food manufacturing industry who are passionate about quality, food safety, and maintaining high production standards.
Responsibilities- Lead and support quality control activities throughout the production process
- Perform quality inspections and verify products meet specifications and food safety standards
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Document quality findings and maintain accurate records
- Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective actions
- Work closely with production teams to maintain product quality and consistency
- Support audits, inspections, and food safety initiatives
- Train and guide team members on quality procedures and best practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Previous quality control experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment required
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards, GMPs, HACCP, and quality systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- $25.13 per hour
