Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Phoenix, AZ. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements. Responsibilities Assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and evaluate, develop and implement a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create individualized treatment and therapy plans for a diverse population of patients. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and their causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of experience, though new graduates are encouraged to apply. ASHA SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing and BLS certification. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods of time. Travel availability for a 13-week assignment starting 06/22/2026. Job ID: #1427945.
