Patient Care Technician - Full Time - Days - Intermediate Care Unit

Hours of Work : 36 per week Days Of Week : 3 Work Shift : Job Purpose The Patient Care Technician under the direction of the professional staff, assists with patient care to provide support to the patient, nursing unit and professional staff. Job Requirements Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility Or Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program Or Certified Medical Assistant program Or Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program Or Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman Or Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S Or EMT Certification/Paramedic License Licenses and/or Certifications: Licenses and/or Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Required Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas and certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center by The Joint Commission.
