Position Summary... What you’ll do: - Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. - Operate forklift following company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing and positioning merchandise pallets. - Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. - Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility by managing inventory flow following company policy and procedures for utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, working inventory exceptions, correcting shelf capacities and completing and retaining required paperwork, logs and other documentation. - Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns and promoting the company’s products and services. - Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials safely, following company steel standard guidelines and correcting and reporting unsafe situations to management. - Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up cleaning and organizing product displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving, sorting, staging and delivering merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise, processing defective merchandise following company and regulatory policies and procedures for sanitation and food safety and monitoring the area for shrink, security risks and safety. - Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking club pick‑up orders throughout the day and staging, ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy and procedures, ensuring Merchandising Associates pick orders within an acceptable timeframe and are staged properly and performing occasional audits for accuracy. - Handle inventory by moving and displaying goods in safe and correct ways, tracking goods, maintaining in‑stock levels and controlling shrinkage in a timely manner, reporting poor inventory practices and low in‑stock levels in assigned area, and using inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly. - Operate and maintain forklifts in safe and correct ways, reporting poor or unsafe conditions or practices in assigned areas and informing management when forklifts are not in proper working order. - Proactively identify customers who need help, actively engage them and assist them with technology services and items, model and help others with technology services, identify shrink opportunities and problems with products, services and work areas and take steps to fix the problem. - Properly maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked in correct ways, promptly fix any problems. - Respect diversity, foster inclusivity, build strong and trusting relationships, communicate with impact, energy and positivity, help develop and mentor others and recognize contributions and accomplishments. - Act with integrity, maintain the highest standards of ethics and compliance, support Walmart’s goal of becoming regenerative and act selflessly with humility, honesty and transparency. - Serve customers and members, put the customer first, make decisions based on reliable information, balance short‑term and long‑term priorities, and consider how own work impacts the team’s ability to deliver on the purpose for all stakeholders. - Strive for excellence, display curiosity, take calculated risks, demonstrate courage and resilience, drive continuous improvements, be open to new technologies and skills, and support others through change. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older.
